SJ Customs offers professional powder coating for automotive parts and general metal items. If it’s metal and it fits in our oven, we can coat it.
Our powder coating oven size is 4 ft x 4 ft x 8 ft. That covers a lot of real-world parts: bumpers, brackets, engine bay components, valve covers, intake piping, and more.
What we can powder coat
- Bumpers, brackets, mounts, tabs, and hardware
- Engine bay components and dress-up parts
- Valve covers, intake piping, intercooler piping
- Turbo-related metal components (as long as they fit the oven)
- General metal parts (not automotive-only)
If you’re not sure whether your part is a good candidate, send the details. If it fits the oven and it’s the right material, we’ll coat it.
Colors and finishes
We can powder coat in any color. If you have a specific finish or look in mind, include it in your quote request. We’ll confirm availability and recommendations based on the part’s use (heat, chemicals, abrasion, outdoor exposure, etc.).
Pricing
Our shop rate for powder coating is $110 per hour. That rate includes materials, prep, coating, and the full process.

Powder Coating Quote
To get a flat quote, include as much of the following as possible:
- Part list and quantities
- Dimensions (or confirm it fits within 4 ft x 4 ft x 8 ft)
- Material type (steel, aluminum, etc.)
- Current condition (new metal, painted, rusty, oily, previously powder coated)
- Requested color + finish (gloss, satin, matte, texture, metallic, etc.)
- Use case (engine bay, exterior, heat exposure, chemicals, abrasion)
- Deadline / target date (if any)
The more detail you provide, the faster and more accurate the quote.
