Cerakote High-Temperature Coating (Ottawa & Limoges, Ontario)
SJ Customs offers high-temperature Cerakote coating for parts that live in extreme heat and harsh conditions. This is a ceramic coating designed for thermal stability, durability, and protection.
Common applications include headers, downpipes, turbo housings, and other high-heat metal components.
Why Cerakote
- High heat resistance: formulated for extreme use temperatures up to 1,800°F (982°C).
- Thermal shock resistance: designed to handle repeated heat cycling without losing adhesion.
- Corrosion protection: built to help protect parts in corrosive environments.
- Thin-film coating: recommended film thickness is typically 1–2 mil, helping maintain fitment on tight-tolerance parts.
